FUNDAMENTALS = SUCCESS
Welcome to Saints Basketball Camps at Marymount University. Our Men's Basketball coaching staff and student-athletes are excited to share our passion for the game with our community.
Our goal for camp is to provide fundamental basketball instruction in a positive and safe environment. Every facet of the game will be covered throughout the week. During our daily skill sessions each camper will be given the opportunity to practice specific fundamentals under staff supervision.
A percentage of your registration is a gift for the Men's Basketball team to enhance the student-athlete experience for the length of the program.
You will receive an email confirmation once you fully complete the online registration.
There is a $50 non-refundable fee for a cancellation once registration is complete. A refund, minus the $50 fee, can be requested up until June 30. Starting July 1, no refunds will be issued. If your child suffers an injury and is physically unable to participate in camp, a credit for the following year will be granted with proper medical documentation. As an added safeguard our program offers Allianz Registration Protector insurance. For an additional fee, this insurance refunds your full registration fee if the event is held but you cannot attend due to a covered injury or illness. Insurance must be purchased in order to get refunded. Please contact the camp director directly if you have questions.
If your child is injured prior to the start of camp you can request a refund (The total amount of camp less any non-refundable fee & registration fee) with the Head Coach/ Camp Director. For full consideration, you must request in writing the refund and provide documentation of the injury or illness from a doctor prior to camp. The request and medical documentation must be sent to the Head Coach/ Camp Director.
In the event of a heat advisory, inclement weather or unplayable field conditions, each Marymount camp reserves the right to; delay the start of camp, end camp early for the day or cancel camp for the day. Refunds will not be available if camp is affected by weather.
We will make every attempt to continue with camp, but the safety of the campers and camp staff comes first.
A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on-site for all camps to take care of ill or injured campers.
All campers are asked if and what allergies they have during the registration process. If your child uses an EpiPen or other lifesaving medication, please send it with them in a clear bag with a current photo of your child. Please make sure that bag is clearly labeled with your child’s name. You will check the device or medication in with our staff at Monday morning check in.
Email the Head Coach/ Camp Director directly to discuss food accommodations for your child.
Lunch is provided at no additional cost for all day camps. Lunch will be served on campus at the Gerard Dining Hall. Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch. If a camper brings their own lunch please make sure it is in a clearly marked container.
All campers need to bring their own water bottle each day. Water will be available for campers to refill their water bottles
All campers should come dressed appropriately and comfortably to participate for the camp they are attending (shoes, cleats, sport specific equipment, swimsuit, weather-appropriate clothing, etc.).
Sunscreen is always encouraged for outdoor camps
For the security of your child, please inform the Head Coach/ Camp Director via email the day prior to when your child needs to leave early. This should include your contact information, reason for leaving, pick up time, and who will be picking the child up.
Decisions regarding entry into any Marymount Athletics facility will be communicated prior to camp.
